Lamborghini Temerario is a new mid-engine plug-in hybrid sports car produced by Lamborghini. Officially unveiled back in August, it is supposed to replace a beloved sportscar, Huracan. The new sports car marks the return of a V8 mid-engine Lamborghini model, making it the first turbocharged Lamborghini sports car.
The power figures are around 790 HP and 730 Nm of torque, with a 10.000 RPM redline. The electric motor sits between the gearbox and the engine and it develops 148 HP and 300 Nm of torque. On the front axle, there's two other electric motors, making use of axial-flux providing larger magnetic surface which translates to better performance. The entire unit is capable of a total output of 907 HP thrusting the car to 100km in 2.7s and a top speed of 340 km/h.
Keeping the naming tradition, according to Lamborghini, Temerario was a fighting bull from 1875, it also means fierce and courageous.
