Leading up to the 2022 Paris Auto Show, BMW announced the highly anticipated second generation of the M2. The M2 is truly a driver’s car, and a favourite among our team, and a car that we have covered numerous times before on our site. Since the original M2 released in 2017, BMW has followed up with a LCI update in 2018, then a sudden engine change in 2019 with the Competition, and the final update on the previous platform, the CS. The audience had high expectations for what was to replace the Competition and CS, and here it is.

Despite the deeply controversial and divisive opinions on the styling, BMW has opted for a more box-shaped styling, with an aggressive-looking rear. BMW, as expected, consistently improved all mechanical and technological aspects of the new M2. Chassis, powertrain, aerodynamics, have all been upgraded, offering more power than ever, and more advanced user interface and experience (larger screen, of course, like all new vehicle releases). We can’t help but imagine how the M2 would look like in our favourite yellow. To pair with this, we rendered it on our SS13 Forged Monoblock design. The SS13 Forged Monoblock showcases crisp spokes with knife-like treatment. The angular motifs are strategically designed to present strong balance and sportiness.
