The moment we've all been waiting for is here and is here to stay.

BMW unveiled their M8 Gran Coupe Concept at the Geneva Motor Show and looks to redefine what luxury and performance truly means as the industry pushes forward. After expressing their wants to create a more premium and luxury-focused BMW, it looks like they've filled in the gap with this release, which features a more elegant, exotic look and feel, especially with it's unique Salève Vert green paint job which is said to shift colors under different lighting conditions. With the world watching on it's newest flagship model, BMW designed the M8 Gran Coupe to be polarizing, targeting bold folks that find comfort in standing apart from the crowd.

The design language of the new 8 Series Gran Coupe is much in-align of it's two-door counterpart which features it's signature grille, or what BMW calls it, "kidney grilles." Below that, the front presents carbon-fibre-reinforced-plastic (CFRP) air intakes that gracefully guides the air to where it needs to be while emphasizing the car's low centre of gravity. The striking yellow hexagonal headlights have lighting technology familiar from their M8 GTE endurance racer. The long bonnet flows effortlessly to the roof which is also made from the same CFRP material. The aggressive rear design, highlighted by it's duck-tail trunk and LED tail lights, will feature quad exhaust tips that seems to have the same gold finish seen on the grilles and the 21-inch wheels.

Apart from the strikingly bold visuals, we can safely assume the production model will sport a turbo-charged engine with the power (and cylinders) exponentially rising as you move up the tiers. Not much performance-related information has been released as of now, but expect to see the top-tier performing similarly to the engine sitting in the current M760i, a 12-cylinder beauty producing over 600 horses.

Pricing on the M8 Gran Coupe is obviously not announced yet as the car is set to roll off in 2019.

All we can do, for now, is bask in all of it's green glory.
