2014 BMW 4-Series Coupe

BMW has officially announced the new 4-Series Coupe, based on it's sedan sibling, this one has a 2 inch longer wheelbase than it's predecessor.

While it looks similar with the Sedan version, this one has redesigned bumpers, slimmer headlights and the tail lights have the same shape as the 4-Series Concept.

BMW takes the individualization even further, adding 3 personalization lines to those that aren't happy with the standard.

  • A Sport package with gloss black accents, a sport-tuned suspension and 18-inch twin-spoke alloy wheels
  • A Luxury package with chrome accents, leather seats and high-gloss wood trim
  • An M Sport package with an aerodynamic body kit, shadow line trim and 18-inch M-style wheels. There's also a sports suspension, high-performance brakes and M-spec interior.

From the launch, there will be 2 engines available in the States, that's the 28i unit, which has a turbocharged 2.0L which develops 240 HP and the 35i version which is a bi-turbo 3.0L unit that develops 300HP - these can be linked to a 6-speed manual transmission or the 8-speed automatic.

The price for the 428i will be set at $41.425 and 435i at $46.925 and are expected to hit the showrooms later this summer.
