2011 - November Chop of the Month

It's December, feels somewhat odd, that another year is getting close to finish. It seems like it was just yesterday when I first started to write some words about the original CoM and here we are with over 1 year of packing the best artworks on the page.

Like usual, there are 3 contenders, 1 for each section, I have to mention that peppus84 didn't replied to my questions in the given time, so the ACS reward goes to samvesters.

Right, along with the summary, in the Streets section, we have, as already mentioned, a new comer, it's GPdesign, which impresses us with his clean and stylish work on a VIPd out Lexus. Let's hope he keeps at it!
GeorgeBatranu(former inlovewithmyself), dominated the CarShow area with his stanced out BMW M3, that chop is pure WOW!
Advanced CarShow is high, as usual, after an intense battle of 3 awesome chops, the winner got the cake by 1 vote! Congrats to samvesters and his slammed new Audi S6 riding on Rotiforms.

Streets Chopper: GPDesign

Q: How did you found out about ps-garage.com? 
A: I had heard about it a few times and finally decided i'd join up.
Q: How long have you been chopping? 
A:Since January 2009. 
Q: What's your motivation to chop? 
A: To try to be better than others and try to get the best out of every car i do. 
Q: How long does it take you to complete a chop? 
A: Depends, for my smaller chops maybe 4 days to a week, but if i dont have many idea's or its a bigger project could be 3 weeks to month or maybe longer.

Q: How did you ended up on ps-garage.com?
A: I joined ps-garage in Sep 2008, you invited me if i can recall.
Q: Do you use Photoshop for anything else?
A: I think i have 5years of Photoshop and yes, i use it to make my own wallpapers and other stuff, like editing my photos(and not only) entertaining stuff, as well as other things.
Q: What motivates you to chop?
A:  Tricky question... i don't know, sometimes it's like i do it just for fun, but with some of the chops you fell in love, and the attention to detail then doubles. This one is a good example for instance... everything gone smooth with it and i loved it! and still am, sits on my desktop for a while now.
Q: Do you think feedback is important?
A: Feedback is very important, and i hate it 'cause i don't know too much people that chop, and i could use some proper advice...and i don't want to post it in the chop in progress, cause it would lose it's charm at the end...everybody knows it and that "wow" disappears.

Advanced CarShow Chopper: samvesters

Q: Can you tell us more about the car? 
A: As far as styling goes, it's fairly simple. This was made for a stance/hellaflush competition, so that was a given. Slammed on Rotiform TMB's and flared rear arches to make the rims fit better. After that, actually more simultaneously, came the search for a background.The global idea was there, but finding it is something different... But I got lucky and found this bg which hardly needed any modding for perspective. Some rain and lighting effects were added to it later on. Next up was the color, red. Wanted either red or black when I started, I think it's clear which one won... 
Q: What was the most pain in the a** part when you chopped it? 
Probably the paint on the front. I just couldn't figure out how the reflections should look, and they still look a bit weird there. 
Q: How long did it took you to finish? 
Not that long actually, or at least for me. In just under two weeks I called it finished. But I could've fiddled with it a whole lot longer to improve it... 
Q: Any new artworks from you until the end of the year? 
I recently started something new. A little brother for this one... And besides that I got an overcrowded WIP-folder. But the end of the year means exams, so I'm not sure when any of these chops will be finished. One more before the end of the year would be nice though.
