One of the most famous cars in movie history was sold last weekend at 2012 Autosport International show.

Of course we are talking about Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 from 1967', known as Eleanor in one of the best car movies, Gone in 60 Seconds, designed with a help of Chip Foose.

The designers did some modifications for the movie purpose, which included wider wheel arches, a hood scoop, front bumper spoiler, side skirts with exhaust pipe, a small duck-tail spoiler in the back, a pair of front lights on the front bumper and new 17-inch Schmidt alloy wheels.

Porsche Panamera by Wurde Euro

Yet again, a Japanese tuner puts it's imprint on European market cars. This time is Wurde, a well known tuner and the "victim" is the Porsche Panamera S.
The kit is a six-piece item, which provides a sportier look to the luxury saloon, which includes a new lip kit for the front, new side skirts, rear diffuser, a sportier wing, new rear fenders panels.
The six-piece kit costs around 13.500 EU, but it can also be sold as separate items.

For extra money, the tuning company can provide a new bonnet, headlights lids (as in the photos) and a new roof spoiler.

Saab museum saved by investors

Looks like one part of Saabs history will not be forgotten.

During the past week, the news got around about Saab selling the famous museum in Trollhattan due to the bankruptcy. Luckly, it was saved by the few investors; former Saab owner Saab AB, local city council of Trollhattan and by foundation run by the Wallenberg family.

The investors have paid £2.5 million to buy the cars in museum and to take over the lease of the museum building.

A Turkish investment group called Brightwell Holdings is said to be in the running, as is the Chinese company that was trying to buy Saab before it fell into administration, Youngman.
